She likes to move it, move it

Annalise is getting to be quite the mover! This week she decided that rolling from back to belly then belly to back can allow her to cross an entire room. I guess Sam can't leave his small toys around anymore.

Here are a few pictures. One is from Will's birthday and he's got both kids- it's a great shot (don't even think about counting those candles). Sam helped decorate the cake with M&M's.Sam is polishing off a cupcake from Melissa's birthday. Check out the batman shirt- Sam's new favorite. She's my shopping girl!
Sam is being a wonderful big brother and sllloooowly pushing Annalise in his shopping cart.

They are both so much fun. We just love listening to them "talk" to each other and interact. Sam is a sweet big brother and very helpful. Annalise is laid back and easy going.

So busy

I'm not sure I have very many followers to my blog since I don't update it often. I am going to add a few things here and there so that I can share with family.

Here is a video of Sam singing "Twinkle Twinkle" to Annalise. She just loves hearing her big brother and Sam loves to interact with her.

This is a dress that my mom saved from when I was a baby. Her hair is so crazy!

Sam "making" muffins in his kitchen. They were delicious!

Sam's little sister could be here in 2-4 weeks! I'm 35 and 1/2 weeks today. We have finalized some details in her nursery, washed up clothes, bought diapers, ect. Sam still isn't quite sure what it all means but he does know there is a "baby's room" with stuff for a baby.

Sam continues to bring laughter to our lives. His favorite after bath activity it to get "crazy hair." In this particular picture, he asked for a mohawk (or as he says, "mohop"). His energy level is still high which might explain why I'm not gaining as much weight during this pregnancy (but I'm not complaining).

I need to take more pictures of the nusery but here is one of Sam "painting." Fortunately, Daddy did all the painting earlier in the day so Sam is just using a dry brush on a dry wall! His smile is so "cheesy" these days!

Next time I post I should have some great news and pictures to share!

Happy Birthday?

So Christmas has Sam a little confused. Everytime he sees a gift he assumes it's someone's birthday (usually his own). He'll even break out into the birthday song. In fact, he breaks out into song for everything these days. He'll sing about Mommy finishing her breakfast or Daddy coming home from work. It's actually quite entertaining and little like Will Ferrell in the "Elf" movie.

We were able to see Santa at Sam's school a couple of weekends ago. While Sam didn't cry, you can see that he didn't look very happy either. I think we are going to try the mall Santa this week just to see if we can't crack a smile!

Sam's favorite snack right now is popcorn. He asks all times of the day and everyday. Here is a video of us making popcorn:

Hope everyone stays safe in the cold and enjoys time with their loved ones this week!
