Water Boy

It's been almost 2 weeks since I posted. Sam got sick last week and I stayed home with him on Monday. Then he went to school on Tuesday but stayed in Sick Bay- a special room for kids who are not sick enough to stay home but shouldn't really be with the other kids. Sam was in a great mood and the teacher reported that he was well enough to go back to his regular room. By the end of the week, he had given it to me. Mostly it is cold symptoms but Sam has a cough, too. We are both starting to feel better now.

Sam really loved his cousins birthday party a couple of weekends ago. Here is a picture of Taylor and Madyson getting ready to eat birthday cupcakes, yummy! They got lots of clothes, jewelry, sunglasses and stuff that made them seem like they were teenagers already. They turned 9 years old!

Here is Aubrey standing on a chair.

She's got strong legs. She is walking pretty good these days and keeping up with her cousin Sam. Aubrey enjoyed getting lots of presents but she's still trying to figure out what it means to have a birthday (and share it with her big sisters).

The highlight of the party for Sam was the slip and slide. We always new he liked playing in the water but I think watching the big kids really encouraged his desire to run and slide. Here is a video of his skills! Aubrey is watching and taking notes.

This past weekend we stayed close to home and Will did some yardwork (while Sam and I rested up). Our daylilies are really blooming and the grass is so green.

Have a great week!
